The Daily Drive Turbo Tuesday Reboot

Welcome to Turbo Tuesdays on Divas-N-Rides! If you noticed the long delays between posts, it’s due to a few changes in my work and life situations. I took some much-needed time off from my primary income source. I’m also working on revamping my sleep schedule because I’ve been falling asleep at awkward times in the day. That’s why took my birthday week from off my primary work. Here’s an update on the feature models and events galleries I’ve worked on the past few days. I posted several events that this website covered this summer. Among the new galleries on the Divas-N-Rides homepage is the XDA/WPGC Bike Fest, The 1st few pages of the Clean Culture/Import Expo FedEx Field Festival, Bombers Car Club presents S.A.L Laurel AL Post 60 Car Show, and The Old Town Style and Speed Show. I also successfully completed a feature model photoshoot. I’ll have it posted before Thursday.

Turbo Tuesday Recharged: Back From Off Track

In 2 days, we’ll have another feature model photoshoot. This week’s feature model is from February 2020. This took place before a global pandemic changed everything we did and then some. The last photoshoot involved apparel from the original Divas-N-Rides Store. This month’s photoshoot will feature this design from our Spreadshirt store. If you haven’t seen the newly designed apparel, you can found it with March’s feature model photoshoot. In the next few days, I’ll have the more recent feature model photoshoots posted soon before the end of the month.

Greetings! For those who have been wondering where I’ve been, here’s the lowdown. I’ve been tied up with other things since May. That means new content hasn’t been posted as quickly as possible. However, I was able to get the photo galleries for the Prince Williams Cruisers 100 Car Pile-Up, The Maryland High Rollers Club Memorial Day Car Show, The XDP Truck Wars at MIR, and the Billets, Bags, BBQ, and 1990’s Mini Truck Show. I also have the Laurel 4th of July Celebration Car Show gallery posted before the day is over. I have also made updates to the Divas-N-Rides merchandise you can find at this e-commerce link or this online store. I already lined up several events to cover this weekend with the extra time off I gained. Now, I used it to add more content and coverage you know and like!

Turbo Tuesdays Recharged

If you noticed why there hasn’t been a Daily Drive for the past few weeks. Here’s the lowdown. I did attend 2 automotive events last month. The images from the Asphalt Angels Spring Show and Southern High FFA Alumni Car, Truck, and Tractor show are now available online. I did 3 different feature model photoshoots that are now uploaded on the servers, and they’ll be posted by the end of the week. Images of Myrra and Lois are now online for viewing. Now, I found a great way to get to earn more money without putting in extra work. I’ve been making a bi-weekly deposit to my Yotta Savings account, and I won several times. It’s called the fun money account. I also started a spending account with Stash last year. They gave me a reloadable that has a stock back reward. In plain English, I own a piece of stock from a company with each purchase. Therefore, I’ll more financial support to keep new content daily, weekly, or monthly!

Turbo Tuesdays Photoshoot Basics

Advertisements

Greetings! I just finished watching the Men’s and Women’s Final Four this past weekend. I also added a new gallery to the Flashback Fridays page. Now, I can shift my focus to photoshoot prep. Here’s the deal! I got back-to-back photoshoots starting April 11th. A good photo shoot involves proper communication and planning. It also involves having clarity in what you need from this photoshoot. However, it’s easy to screw up a potential photoshoot. Here are the 5 areas of a photoshoot you need to address before the 1st image is captured.

  1. Bookings: It’s about finding the right time for all parties involved. You don’t want to schedule anything that conflicts with any other activities. Check your schedule to find the best time available. I look at my calendar to ensure that I’m not booking something that might create schedule conflicts with other commitments. Don’t assume you got the date set in stone until to tied that date up in advance.
  2. Location: Make sure the location is available. If that location isn’t an option, you need to have an alternative venue available. That’s why I bookmarked PeerSpace. I also had talent used their place in town as a spot for photoshoots.
  3. Budget: You want to avoid being pennywise, but pound foolish. Make sure you have the right amount of money to carry out this project. I also ask about rates, whether it’s paid or unpaid, etc.
  4. Equipment: Make sure you have all the gear needed for a photoshoot. I recently bought my own lights for venues that don’t supply their own lights. I also had to get extra batteries, a battery organizer, an sd card, or a Compact flashcard.
  5. Wardrobe: What clothes will be a part of the photoshoot? I usually state what type of outfits will be a part of the photoshoot. I also let the interested party know that I might be bringing clothes from the Divas-N-Rides store

That’s just a brief rundown on how Divas-N-Rides get their feature model photoshoots set up. Stay tuned for items we’re sharing from past photoshoot and event coverage.

Greetings! If you noticed that I haven’t posted anything lately. I’ve been tied up with many things in the past few weeks. This goes beyond March Madness Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments. One of the things I’ve been tied up with is photography. I successfully completed 1 photoshoot on February, 3 in March, and 2 H.O.P.S events last week. I also posted new images for 2 new Flashback Fridays that I plan to post this coming Friday. Both involve past photoshoots that will be posted on my Bentbox page (18+). I also will have the latest feature model photoshoot posted before the week is over. I’m also returning to Vanaheim Studio next month because I couldn’t find any open spots at Union 206. However, I did get a timeslot book at Union 206 booked next month. Finally, I got the stimulus check 2 weeks ago, and I used some of it to pay down debt and renewed my WordPress account. I choose to have that part of the website taken care of so it wouldn’t take too much time to resolve. This month, I had multiple weeks of multiple sales on Mercari. I’m adding new items for sale over there and at my eBay store. I got a block of time for new content creation and additions to be shared with everyone before the end of the month.

The Weekend Drive Fasttrack Fridays

Advertisements

Happy Friday! Welcome to Fast Track Fridays on Divas-N-Rides! I’m putting together the final touches for the upcoming photo shoot this Wednesday in Baltimore with a Dallas-based model. In the past, I would head over to Atomic Canary for any photoshoots scheduled in Baltimore. I have some of those images on this website. The last time I did a photoshoot at Atomic Canary, It was with a model in Grace last winter. I would never expect that would be the final photo shoot at the building. Therefore, I’m focusing on Peerspace to find what could be a new go-to spot for photoshoots in the Baltimore Metro Region. The feature model photoshoot happening on March 10th is taking place in the same area where Artscape is held annually. I’m also bringing in some new outfits to this boudoir/glamour photoshoot that will be posted on the Divas-N-Rides website. I’m making a refresh in the photo shoot wardrobe. This photoshoot will feature new designs that were uploaded to Spreadshirt a few weeks ago. This new design will be showcased in this upcoming feature model photoshoot. I’m also planning to showcase new apparel for several eye candy and feature model photoshoots coming in April. However, it wasn’t the only spot where Divas-N-Rides merchandise can be found. I also posted some merchandise on my eBay Store since it’s one of the few revenue streams that have steady performance. In the past few months, I got new graphic designs that haven’t been uploaded to platforms where Divas-N-Rides-themed merchandise is being sold. If there’s one big bright spot for this month, I don’t have to engage in snow removal.

Daily Drive Turbo Tuesdays 3

Here’s an update on the event schedule! This is related to the events at Maryland International Raceway. It’s clear that I have to wait a little longer to see spectators attend those events. Several events I posted are for racers, crew members, and their families. The 2021 rules are similar to the 2020 rules. When I was updating the page, I missed this important detail. It’s clear that until most of the states, let alone the nation, reach herd immunity, it’s clear many of us will be on the outside looking in. That means alternative plans until safe to visit this track or any other tracks in the near future. Until then, I will post new non-automotive content to the website. I also have 2 confirmed photo shoots starting this Saturday. I also plan to add new galleries in the Flashback Fridays and Eye Candy sections.

Daily Drive, Throttle Thursday 2

Happy Birthday! I spent most of the week away from the computer working with Task Rabbit and processing sales on my eBay store. I’m also doing post-production work on the 1st photoshoot I completed last weekend. I plan to have the 1st batch posted before Sunday. I also booked 2 photoshoots for next month in Baltimore, and 1 photoshoot was booked 2 weeks ago. I also showcased some new designs on the Divas-N-Rides store. I’m planning to showcase some of the designs posted online in 2 of the feature model photoshoots. I also plan to get in touch with other creatives, models, and more for future feature model photoshoots.

The Weekend Drive: 02/21/21

Welcome to the weekend Drive! If you noticed that I haven’t anything this past week, I was tied up performing tasks on Taskrabbit. I also dug myself out of the snow and ice that passed through my neck of the woods. In the meantime, I booked 4 photo shoots. The 1st photo shoot of 2021 is this Sunday. I also have 3 others scheduled for March. I plan to add the new designs that I posted in the past weeks on both CafePress, Redbubble, and Spreadshirt. My goals is to see which will produce the most attention and sales to see where the website site will put their merchandise attention towards this year and beyond.
