H-Day Turbo Tuedsay

Happy Tuesday! It’s Turbo Tuesday Rebooted! I’ve attended 4 H-Day events in the past. I either attend the Saturday or Sunday portion of the show. I finally got a chance to attend both days of H-Day at Maryland International Raceway. I finished the 1st page of the event galleries. There’ll be 4 pages of content from this event nearly 2 weeks ago. It’s clear there is more great content from this event to share with everyone who loves these types of events. I can thank Betterment and Yotta for helping me save up to afford the tickets. I updated the events page for future events as the weather starts to warm up. I’m also getting funding help from my eBay store. I recently added a new inventory for those looking to upgrade their summer fun itinerary. I’m getting back to spring cleaning to have space for summer fun in the next few weeks.

The Daily Drive has been rebranded to specific days as a result of the updated schedules and availability. I finally got images from the 2022 Washington Auto Show uploaded this week. It’s great to get the 1st event gallery for 2022 uploaded is exciting. I’m also finally catching up on a good portion of the feature model gallery from last year posted on this website. I plan to get a few more feature model galleries posted either this weekend or days before another photoshoot takes place next week. I also made some changes to my Bonanza account a few weeks ago. I’m now making changes to the many revenue sources to support the website besides the official online store here. I feel much better with the potential of watching this revenue stream relaunched to create new opportunities for future fans to enjoy.

Turbo Tuesday Restarted 1

I just finished putting the finishing touches on one of my car show galleries from last year. Now, I have room to set up the 2022 Car Show Galleries section. I’m also working on adding new feature model galleries to get the 2022 feature model section up and running. Several photoshoots from last year are still in the post-production stage. The Washington Auto Show is now playing until Sunday. On top of that, The Maryland Auto Show is happening this weekend. Last year, this is was not an option due to the global pandemic. The pandemic is still here, and I took the necessary steps to stay safe as I create new content weekly.

It’s been a crazy 1st month of 2022. My phone was out of order for a week. It turns out it needed a new battery, and it’s now functional. I had to clean up from 2 snowstorms. My other sources of income dealt with a normal slowdown from an active December 2021.  On top of that, I just had 2 scheduled photoshoots rescheduled due to Covid-19 issues. I did get 1 feature model photo shoot completed this month with another one scheduled next week. I also have several car show galleries posted online. I’m on the verge of creating a 2022 Car Show gallery with the Washington Auto Show returning after a year off. I also got the uncensored set (18+) from this photoshoot last summer sold! Stay tuned for another feature model gallery posted!

Weekend Drive End of Year Special

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year, Divas-N-Rides fans! For those wondering what was up with the radio silence, I was preoccupied with prior commitments over the last few months. I was able to update the events calendar section on the website for the 2022 calendar year. It’s still a work in progress as new events get added. However with news of the latest development in the global pandemic, there’s a good chance some events will be changed in response to the everchanging health crisis. I also added new content to the website. I added some new galleries with the models I worked with this past summer and fall. I also posted a few events I attended in 2021.  Finally, the folks at YottaSavings put together this coll song recapping my 2021. It’s called #YottaRapped! It’s so wild and funny that I had to share it with you. Also, if you want big with Yotta, sign up using my promo code Aaron174.

The Daily Drive Turbo Tuesday Reboot

Welcome to Turbo Tuesdays on Divas-N-Rides! If you noticed the long delays between posts, it’s due to a few changes in my work and life situations. I took some much-needed time off from my primary income source. I’m also working on revamping my sleep schedule because I’ve been falling asleep at awkward times in the day. That’s why took my birthday week from off my primary work. Here’s an update on the feature models and events galleries I’ve worked on the past few days. I posted several events that this website covered this summer. Among the new galleries on the Divas-N-Rides homepage is the XDA/WPGC Bike Fest, The 1st few pages of the Clean Culture/Import Expo FedEx Field Festival, Bombers Car Club presents S.A.L Laurel AL Post 60 Car Show, and The Old Town Style and Speed Show. I also successfully completed a feature model photoshoot. I’ll have it posted before Thursday.

Turbo Tuesday Recharged: Back From Off Track

In 2 days, we’ll have another feature model photoshoot. This week’s feature model is from February 2020. This took place before a global pandemic changed everything we did and then some. The last photoshoot involved apparel from the original Divas-N-Rides Store. This month’s photoshoot will feature this design from our Spreadshirt store. If you haven’t seen the newly designed apparel, you can found it with March’s feature model photoshoot. In the next few days, I’ll have the more recent feature model photoshoots posted soon before the end of the month.

Greetings! For those who have been wondering where I’ve been, here’s the lowdown. I’ve been tied up with other things since May. That means new content hasn’t been posted as quickly as possible. However, I was able to get the photo galleries for the Prince Williams Cruisers 100 Car Pile-Up, The Maryland High Rollers Club Memorial Day Car Show, The XDP Truck Wars at MIR, and the Billets, Bags, BBQ, and 1990’s Mini Truck Show. I also have the Laurel 4th of July Celebration Car Show gallery posted before the day is over. I have also made updates to the Divas-N-Rides merchandise you can find at this e-commerce link or this online store. I already lined up several events to cover this weekend with the extra time off I gained. Now, I used it to add more content and coverage you know and like!

Turbo Tuesdays Recharged

If you noticed why there hasn’t been a Daily Drive for the past few weeks. Here’s the lowdown. I did attend 2 automotive events last month. The images from the Asphalt Angels Spring Show and Southern High FFA Alumni Car, Truck, and Tractor show are now available online. I did 3 different feature model photoshoots that are now uploaded on the servers, and they’ll be posted by the end of the week. Images of Myrra and Lois are now online for viewing. Now, I found a great way to get to earn more money without putting in extra work. I’ve been making a bi-weekly deposit to my Yotta Savings account, and I won several times. It’s called the fun money account. I also started a spending account with Stash last year. They gave me a reloadable that has a stock back reward. In plain English, I own a piece of stock from a company with each purchase. Therefore, I’ll more financial support to keep new content daily, weekly, or monthly!

Turbo Tuesdays Photoshoot Basics

Advertisements

Greetings! I just finished watching the Men’s and Women’s Final Four this past weekend. I also added a new gallery to the Flashback Fridays page. Now, I can shift my focus to photoshoot prep. Here’s the deal! I got back-to-back photoshoots starting April 11th. A good photo shoot involves proper communication and planning. It also involves having clarity in what you need from this photoshoot. However, it’s easy to screw up a potential photoshoot. Here are the 5 areas of a photoshoot you need to address before the 1st image is captured.

  1. Bookings: It’s about finding the right time for all parties involved. You don’t want to schedule anything that conflicts with any other activities. Check your schedule to find the best time available. I look at my calendar to ensure that I’m not booking something that might create schedule conflicts with other commitments. Don’t assume you got the date set in stone until to tied that date up in advance.
  2. Location: Make sure the location is available. If that location isn’t an option, you need to have an alternative venue available. That’s why I bookmarked PeerSpace. I also had talent used their place in town as a spot for photoshoots.
  3. Budget: You want to avoid being pennywise, but pound foolish. Make sure you have the right amount of money to carry out this project. I also ask about rates, whether it’s paid or unpaid, etc.
  4. Equipment: Make sure you have all the gear needed for a photoshoot. I recently bought my own lights for venues that don’t supply their own lights. I also had to get extra batteries, a battery organizer, an sd card, or a Compact flashcard.
  5. Wardrobe: What clothes will be a part of the photoshoot? I usually state what type of outfits will be a part of the photoshoot. I also let the interested party know that I might be bringing clothes from the Divas-N-Rides store

That’s just a brief rundown on how Divas-N-Rides get their feature model photoshoots set up. Stay tuned for items we’re sharing from past photoshoot and event coverage.
